ARE YOUR BABIES IN DAYCARE?

I never know what I am going to write about until I start writing. This entry will be about parents staying home to raise their children. I think one of the reasons our society is going to hell without a handbasket, is because our children are being raised by strangers.
I think it is important that at least one parent stay home the first few years of their children's lives. If you need to work maybe you should wait to have children. I can't see the piont in having babIes and then letting TOTAL strangers raise them. Do you think they get loving care? Think again! Be honest with yourself.
When you are with other people's children do you have the same feeling that you do towards them as your own? I love children and I know there is a difference.
Before you have a baby it's wise to decide if you can afford one. Before you have a baby it's a good idea to look at your finances. Maybe you can cut expenses so one of you can afford to stay home.
One day I was at the park with my grandson. I met a pregnant woman who was following her one and a half year old around the park. She was
nervous that my grandson would hurt her son with the stick he was carrying. Do you think that anyone at a daycare would be following her son around so closely? I started to chat with her. She complained that every morning she had to go pick up her son from daycare because he was crying so much. I asked her a few questions. Do you work? No! So why is your child in daycare? He needs to socialize? At one and a half?? She mentioned that she has a NANNY at home. I asked what the hell the NANNY was doing if the baby was in daycare. She said she was tired. I told her to keep her baby at home. He has plenty of time to socialize and she could take him to different activities herself. Children at one and a half years don't socialize!
I think she was very sorry she met me.
What is our society coming to. Maids, daycares and noone at home. Why do we buy beautiful homes and then leave them empty all day. Wouldn't it be better to live in a smaller home which is really a home and a comforting place for the family. How can anyone enjoy their home when they work or are in daycare all day and come home exhausted?????
