THE GOOD OLD USA - HAH?

Yesterday I heard on the radio that a newborn baby was taken away from its mother because the mother did not speak English, and or Spanish. The mother spoke a different language. I think the mother was here illegally from Mexico. Anyhow the officials felt that the mother would not be able to communicate with doctors or the emergency people. I can't believe this. Who ever told the US that they are the keepers of the universe? Whoever told the US that their way was the only right way? What about all the immigrants who came to Canada and the US and lived very normal and productive lives even though they didn't speak the language. I think it's time for other countries to tell the us to get off their soap box. Just because a country does things differently doesn't mean it's wrong. It's just a different way of life. US????? You are not always right. Stay home and take care of your own. Leave other countries manage their own societies and issues.
