DO YOU EXERCISE?

EVERYONE SAYS WE NEED TO EXERCISE. They say we sit too much. We play video games, surf the net and watch TV way too much. So I think you should begin your exercise program right this minute. Are you ready? You don't have to get off the chair. As you sit there raise your legs - up and down now. Keep them straight. Do it ten times, tomorrow twenty times. Keep it up. Then while you read a blog lift your arms up way over your head. You can do it!!!! Pull in your stomach.
Yes exercise is important if you want to stay in shape. It doesn't matter that runners drop dead as they jog. Imagine if they didn't jog. They would have been dead a long time ago. Maybe!
So begin your exercise today. Don't be intimidated by people who walk or run faster than you do. You can catch up. So what if it takes you longer to get there. What's the rush anyways?
Remember to reward yourself. If you exercise one day doesn't that mean you can have a piece of cake after. You did use up calories didn't you?
All kidding aside it is a good idea to begin some type of exercise program.
Maybe find a sport that you like. There are so many sports programs that you can get into. So you have small children? Just running after a toddler is enough. They say the best athlete cannot keep up with a toddler. So if you do you probably get enough exercise.
Exercise with a friend or with a hubby. You can motivate each other.
I know it is hard to be motivated but after all do you really want to be a blimp.
Get started. You can do it.
Run in place.
Go up and down the stairs.
Park far from that store or restaurant.
Leave your car in the garage and travel by local bus.
Buy a pedometer and walk 10,000 steps or more.
After all is done lie down and take a nap. YOU DESERVE IT!
Back to the treadmill for me.
