Everyone knows I am a very impatient person or so they say. I do have patience but usually not for people.
I have no patience for people who:
all they can talk about is dieting.
all they can talk about is their gray hair and how they MUST dye it
all they can talk about is shopping and how they use their coupons
all they can talk about is their house and all the cleaning they have to do
I think life is short - very short and why waste time denying yourself a piece of cake. I think everyone should exercise, try to eat the best they can and that's it. I was one of the first members of Weight Watchers in Montreal. Jean Neidetch the founder of Weight Watchers spoke at one of the meetings I went to. I went for quite awhile to meetings. It's a long time ago. I don't remember if I lost or what. I do remember a lot of the women who were there. The funny and sad thing is that when I did go back to WW about twenty years later the same women were there. Is it really worth spending your whole life counting calories and worrying about what you eat. I am NOT saying to be fat. I am saying to ACCEPT who and what you are. Don't accept what the media tells you about getting and being thin. Can you just imagine how RICH the companies are that push diets and diet products. We women must smarten up. We know we can cut down what we eat if we want to lose weight. If you are fat and have been so for a long time GIVE up. Then you will probably lose. Once you stop obsessing about that piece of chocolate cake you probably won't even want it.
Do you realize how many young teenage girls are anorexic?
Do you know that models who are extremely thin suffer a lot for it?
It is NOT natural to look like Barbie. I wouldn't let my children play with Barbies. They are NOT a good model for our young girls.
Do you know how much plastic surgery models and actresses have????
Why do women put themselves through it?
Anyone who loves and cares about you will not care if you weigh 100 pounds or 14o? If they do then you don't need them.
Give yourself a break.
It won't be a mistake.
Try to look at food differently.
Try to have healthy fruits and vegies around.
If you want something like cake, cookies or chips have them when you're out of the house but STOP denying yourself. I know a lot of women whop lost weight but maybe one kept it off.
STOP DIETING! THEN MAYBE YOU WILL LOSE. AT LEAST YOU WILL BE HAPPY AND NOT MAKING THOSE DIET COMPANIES RICH.
STOP BUYING THOSE MAGAZINES THAT TELL YOU HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT IN A WEEK! REALIZE IT'S ALL NONSENSE.
